Sam Baldwin
Sam is an entrepreneurial executive and board advisor with over two decades of experience across tier-one investment banking platforms. Originally trained as a chemical engineer at Imperial College London, he moved into global capital markets, where he most recently built and scaled a strategic equity solutions business into a nine-figure revenue unit — sustaining exceptional growth over eight consecutive years.
His experience spans corporate governance, complex financial structuring, risk and capital management, and the kind of high-stakes stakeholder work that comes with advising both listed institutions and government bodies on significant asset decisions. He has served as a board member and finance committee director for a large private estate and trust, providing independent financial oversight through a period of substantial growth and transition.
Sam's approach is direct rather than theoretical: he focuses on the outcomes a board or founder actually needs, not the process for its own sake. He brings the discipline of an engineer, the pattern-recognition of two decades in markets, and the willingness to ask the obvious question everyone else has stopped asking.
When not advising clients, Sam divides his time between a love for historic motoring and cycling, and an active support of the arts. He maintains close ties to institutions that preserve British heritage and culture, from the National Trust and Brooklands to Glyndebourne.
